Those seeking driving license in Andhra Pradesh in general and Hyderabad in particular have to first get learner’s license to the RTA (Regional transport authority) at RTO (Regional transport office). 30 days after getting the learner’s license they have to go for driving test. Permanent driving license will be issued depending on performance at the test permanent license is issued.
Getting permanent driving license license in Hyd:
The applicant should appear for the test along with Form No. 4 with a fee of Rs.125/- with the vehicle for which one wants to get licence with a learner’s driving licence of minimum 30 days older
Test is conducted on the tracks at RTO and license is issued.
Permanent driving licence is issued for a period of 20 years.
